On a very hot summer day in August of 2016, NFFAR’s TROT was activated by Pathway to Hope to rescue a kitten from the wheel well of a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle had driven a distance with the kitten clinging to the car. Efforts to remove the kitten failed and the owner locked the car and departed. NFFAR’s TROT leader, Jeff, managed to free the kitten from the car. The traumatized baby went into foster care and was later adopted.
